Pooh Shiesty, along with his father and fellow rapper Big30, has been taken into custody following allegations of armed robbery and kidnapping earlier this year.

Reports suggest that among the victims was a man believed to be Gucci Mane.

On April 2, the Memphis rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., had been apprehended by law enforcement. This announcement came shortly after his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., was arrested by FBI agents in Tennessee on April 1.

Both arrests stemmed from warrants executed at a residence in Cordova, Tennessee, reportedly owned by either Pooh Shiesty or his father.

The following afternoon, the Department of Justice held a press conference detailing the case, during which officials confirmed that nine individuals were charged in relation to this incident.

The allegations date back to January of this year when three men traveled to Dallas to meet Pooh Shiesty for business discussions at a recording studio. However, once inside the facility, the men reportedly became victims of an orchestrated armed assault carried out by Pooh Shiesty and his associates.

According to authorities, Pooh Shiesty wielded an assault-style firearm and demanded that one of the individuals — allegedly suspected to be Gucci Mane — sign a contract release form.

Additionally, the group reportedly seized various belongings from the victims, including money, jewelry, and other valuables. Officials described Pooh Shiesty as the mastermind behind the scheme, while his father is accused of aiding in its planning and execution.

Investigators assert that surveillance footage, rental car records, Instagram posts showcasing stolen items, and fingerprints obtained from the crime scene played crucial roles in piecing together the case against the suspects.
