Pooh Shiesty recently surprised his mother, Gladys Baines, with a lavish $1.1 million house.
On February 3, the rapper shared heartwarming clips on his Instagram Story showing Mama Shiesty as she walked into her new home for the first time.
The footage captured her emotional response as she stepped into the spacious kitchen, greeted by balloon letters spelling out the word “HOME.”
Luxury real estate agent Missy Perrin played a key role in helping Shiesty find the perfect place for his mom. She posted photos and videos of Baines celebrating her new home on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the rapper for trusting her with such a meaningful purchase.
Referring to lyrics from Shiesty’s latest single “FDO,” Perrin wrote: “The whole world been waiting on me, I couldn’t fumble this.”
“Thank you for trusting me with your Mom,” Ms. Perrin added. “Thank you for trusting me through the process.”
The Memphis-born rapper, whose real name is Lontrell D. Williams Jr., is currently on home confinement until April 11. He was released early from federal prison on October 7, 2025, after serving more than three years.
Despite circulating rumors about how he secured his release, Shiesty has firmly denied any involvement in cooperating with authorities. On January 10, he posted a video of his indictment paperwork on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “Never told and never folded.”
Looking ahead, Pooh Shiesty is working on a new album, though no release date has been confirmed yet.
