On Friday (June 16), popular rapper Quando Rondo – real name Tyquian Terrel Bowman – has been arrested in Chatham County, GA for criminal street gang activity and possession of controlled substances. He is being held in the Chatham County jail.

The authorities told TMZ that the controversial Never Broke Again artist allegedly worked with up to 18 others on drug deals between October 2022 and June of this year.

Rondo was charged with “2 counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, 1 count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and 1 count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal,” per TMZ.

Rondo was involved in the purchase of marijuana and telling a defendant to negotiate the prices, following which he traveled to Macon, Georgia, to complete the payment. Further details of the case have not been disclosed yet. The artist also allegedly managed the “Rollin’ 60’s” gang, and told other members to avoid carrying weapons in vehicles he was in.

Quando is yet to be taken to court.
