15 years ago today, the Hip-Hop world lost the ‘King Of Hooks’ at the age of 41.
The Long Beach artist, who was Grammy-nominated four times, suffered extensively from alcoholism. On March 15, 2011, after suffering two strokes, Nate Dogg died of congestive heart failure.
The mellow-voiced entertainer’s signature sound became an integral part of the 1990s music scene and the West Coast “gangsta-funk” movement, collaborating with Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Warren G, Eminem, and many more.
May he rest in peace and his legacy continue to be remembered.
