4 years ago today, we lost rising Memphis rapper Young Dolph — a visionary, a prolific hustler, and a man who turned pain into purpose every time he touched a mic.

Tragically, he was shot and killed at age 36 inside Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies on Airways Boulevard in his hometown when a gunman drove up and shot through the window.
