Rakim announced his first new project in 15-years entitled “G.O.D.’s Network (Reb7rth)” with the release of the project’s first single and video “Be Ill,” which featured Kurupt and Masta Killa.
The anticipated album will be released on July 26 and shows the world his “G.O.D.” status extends to more than just lyricism, as it is also the first project that is entirely produced by Rakim himself.
Now, the veteran New York rapper has released the project’s second single, “Now Is The Time,” which features B.G., Hus Kingpin and Compton Menace.
“G.O.D.s’ Network (Reb7rth)” will feature collaborations with Nipsey Hussle, DMX, B.G., Method Man, Prodigy, 38 Spesh, Kurupt, Masta Killa, Skyzoo, Kool G Rap, Joell Ortiz, KXNG Crooked, Planet Asia and more.
