Hip-hop mogul Rick Ross (real name William Roberts II) has officially turned himself in to South Florida authorities.
The Miami-Dade arrest follows serious domestic violence allegations brought forward by his ex-girlfriend, model Jazzma Kendrick. The 50-year-old rapper faces charges of battery and battery by strangulation. He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.

The police report states that the argument quickly escalated into a physical assault:

– The rapper allegedly choked her and slammed her against a wall.
