Rihanna might be ready to leave her music career behind.

The superstar fueled retirement rumors while deejaying at a Fenty Beauty event in her native Barbados.

“I would say music was the thing that got the attention. But God had other plans for me and I was able to create in ways that were very sincere and genuine, organic, and authentic to the things that I love. So, it doesn’t even feel like a job,” Rihanna told the party’s attendees.

“So it doesn’t even feel like a job. But when you bring it home, I cannot express to you guys what this day means for me to be able to celebrate with the people that deserve it the most, the community that has always propelled me to the next place and given me the strength and the grace and you guys have always inspired me,” the hitmaker continued in her speech.

RiRi’s last album entitled “Anti” was released in 2016 and featured hits like “Work” and “Love on the Brain.”

Rihanna previously held the title of the richest female musician with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billiob thanks to her successful Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty lines. She was surpassed by Taylor Swift for the title last month, as the pop star’s net worth jumped to an estimated $1.6 billion, according to Forbes.
