Rihanna has explained that her much-awaited album won’t be delayed too much by her pregnancy.

At the 2025 Met Gala, the 37-year-old Pop star confirmed the pregnancy news and fans were wondering if it will impact her long awaited new album.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Umbrella” hitmaker was asked if the album will be “put on pause even longer.”

RiRi – who is expecting her third child with her partner A$AP Rocky – said, “No, maybe a couple of videos.” She then quipped, “I can sing!”

The Fenty Beauty founder has been working on her ninth studio album for years.

When asked how the Pop star was enjoying her third pregnancy, she added: “I’m good! I’m shockingly feeling ok, and not too overwhelmed at the moment. At first it was kinda like, ‘Ahhh!'”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Rih also shut down rumors about her secretly getting married to A$AP Rocky.
