December is Roddy Ricch season.
The Compton rapper revealed that his long-awaited new album, “The Navy Album,” is slated to drop on December 6.
Not much is known about the forthcoming project aside from the fact that it will house singles such as “Survivor’s Remorse” and “911.”
It is also worth mentioning that December 6 will mark the fifth anniversary of “Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial,” the rapper’s debut studio album.
“The Navy Album” continues Ricch’s streak of end-of-the-year albums. He dropped his freshman album, “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial,” on December 6, 2019 and followed suit with “Live Life Fast” on December 17, 2021.
“Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial” was #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and so was the hit single “The Box.” His previous project, “Live Life Fast,” premiered at #4 on the Billboard 200, and the closest thing to a hit single it produced was 2021’s “Late At Night,” which peaked at #20 on the Hot 100.
