Kansas City rapper SleazyWorld Go has pleaded guilty to illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, adding another serious chapter to a legal battle that could threaten his future.

The SleazyWorld Go guilty plea was announced by federal prosecutors, with the rapper now facing sentencing in January 2027.

The 28-year-old artist, whose legal name is Joseph R. Isaac, admitted to one count of possessing a firearm despite a previous felony conviction. His 2016 armed robbery conviction in Michigan legally prohibited him from owning or possessing guns.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas, the investigation began after authorities discovered social media posts showing the rapper holding firearms.

Social Media Posts Put Rapper Under Federal Investigation

Investigators reportedly reviewed more than 30 public posts featuring firearms over a two-year period. The investigation intensified in October 2022, when federal agents tracked Isaac to a townhome complex in Kansas City, Kansas.

Authorities said agents observed him handling a handgun near his vehicle. A subsequent search reportedly uncovered four firearms.

The case previously resulted in a mixed jury verdict. Isaac was found guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon but acquitted of a separate machine gun possession charge.

His latest guilty plea raises fresh questions about the consequences facing an artist whose career was gaining momentum when the investigation began.

SleazyWorld Go Faces January 2027 Sentencing

SleazyWorld Go built a growing reputation through records like “Sleazy Flow,” which gained widespread attention before Lil Baby joined the remix in 2022. Collaborations with artists including Offset and G Herbo further expanded his profile.

Now, his legal troubles threaten to overshadow that musical progress.

His sentencing is scheduled for January 26, 2027. A federal judge will determine the punishment after considering the sentencing guidelines and applicable legal factors.

For fans who watched his rise from viral success to mainstream recognition, the latest development is a sobering reminder that legal consequences can reshape a promising career.
