Snoop Dogg honored the late Kobe Bryant by performing a special song titled “A Tribute To Kobe” at the 2020 ESPY Awards, which were virtually staged due to coronavirus concerns.

The Westcoast legend was featured in a heartfelt two-and-a-half-minute video, which showcases highlights from Bryant’s career and concludes with a declaration: Los Angeles is Bryant’s city.

Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in late January of this year. Bryant was traveling in his private helicopter when it went down and a fire broke out, with all five people onboard confirmed dead, including Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant.
