On Friday (July 8), Styles P of The LOX announced on Instagram a concert to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his weed anthem “Good Times,” which was the lead single from his debut album “A Gangster And A Gentleman” in 2002. The cannabis-centric song peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 while enjoying massive radio airplay.
Fast forward two decades, the Yonkers native’s mates Jadakiss and Sheek Louch will join him, along with Havoc of Mobb Deep, Smoke DZA, Nems, Statik Selektah and more.
“When you see [smoke] there is [fire]!!!!!! Come celebrate history with me Aug 18th. As for the show, the “Good Times” concert is scheduled for August 18 at Irving Plaza in New York City. Tickets are currently available from Ticketmaster and are $42 for general admission and $84 for balcony seating.
