T.I. says that his joint album with Boosie Badazz might not see the light of day because the perfect moment to release it has passed.
“I feel like the time that we had allotted for it, we kind of passed by it. You know what I mean? It was like, ready. We got the records. But it’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just releasing the record and I feel like we kinda missed the window,” the popular southern rapper said on the “We In Miami” podcast.
T.I. added, “Not saying that that window can’t present itself again. We have a very healthy relationship.”
The duo announced the album earlier this year but in March, they fell out after Boosie claimed that T.I. was a rat during an interview with DJ Vlad after the Atlanta artist had joked that he “snitched” on his dead cousin, which was just a joke.
Last month, Boosie told Vlad the album was still on the way.
“Yeah, I think we’re gonna get it together. We ain’t got back in the studio yet. But I think we’re gonna get it together. We’ve been working on other shit right now.”
Apparently, Boosie Badazz and T.I. made amends since their spat over the snitching allegations. If their joint LP does come out, it will join a Badazz catalog that also contains the Webbie-assisted “Ghetto Stories” and “Gangsta Musik” collaborative projects.
