With a career spanning nearly two decades, The Game is often asked for advice from up-n-coming rappers. Now, the Compton native offered a warning to his peers to stay in the house, following the slew of killings in 2020.
10 rappers shot & killed this year alone & nggas wanna know my advice for up & coming artists… STAY THE FCK IN THE HOUSE. #F*ck2020

The “How We Do” rapper wrote in a follow-up tweet,

The Game has had his share of beefs and losses over the years in the Rap game, but 2020 has been riddled with killings of artists that have raised his level of concern. Rappers such as Pop Smoke, Mo3, King Von, Tripple Beanz and others lost their lives as a result of gun violence. Rappers G Herbo and Casanova were also forced to turn themselves into the feds last week.
The Game has since turned to social media in hopes to prevent further tragedies.
Young rap niggas, stop showing off all ya money on social media. For every dollar you floss, it’s a hood nigga out there loading a clip for you.

Fat Joe addressed the same topic in his discussion with fellow NY rapper Maino. On “The Fat Joe Show,” he told Maino that “rappers are in danger.”
We seein’ rappers getting murdered every day. We’re seein’ rappers go to jail for big sht. This ain’t little sht, Maino, right? Have you managed to stay out the way, like to get caught up with these things.
