The Weeknd and Future have unveilled off their newest collaborative project entitled “Double Fantasy.”
Clocking in at roughly four-and-a-half minutes, the joint is produced by Mike Dean, Metro Boomin and The Weeknd himself, and kicks off with exuberant synths laid underneath a lead wind instrument. The track also arrives with an accompanying music video that stars Lily-Rose Depp, who co-stars opposite The Weeknd in his and Sam Levinson’s forthcoming HBO series “The Idol”.
“Double Fantasy” is set to appear on the soundtrack of “The Idol”, which stars the The Weeknd as Tedros, a cult chief, who takes Depp’s Jocelyn, a popstar who has fallen from grace, under his wing. Joining the two in the cast are Dan Levy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, Jane Adams, Jennie Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, Moses Sumney, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Suzanna Son and Hank Azaria.
