The countdown to Travis Scott‘s “Jackboys 2” is on.
The Houston-born rapper released a trailer for the Cactus Jack label compilation’s teaser, featuring unreleased music from La Flame.
Shot by Harmony Korine, the two-minute snippet of the trailer shows Scott standing in a field next to a horse and a bright purple Lamborghini Aventador before rapping throughout the night and seemingly returning home.
“Only time we seen results was watching Jerry/ Only time I seen a lake was watching Ricky,” he raps on the track slated to land on “JB2.”
This marks the first look at “Jackboys 2,” the anticipated sequel to Scott’s 2019 collaborative project “Jackboys”, and fans are already dissecting every frame and lyric.
The track teased in the trailer hints at a darker, more introspective sound, though with Travis, unpredictability is always part of the experience.
The first label compilation topped the Billboard 200. The offering enlists the late Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, Quavo, Offset, Young Thug, Don Toliver and more.
