Rest in peace Tupac Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996).

2Pac was shot in Las Vegas, Nevada on the night of September 7, 1996. He was struck four times: once in the arm, once in the thigh, and twice in the chest with one bullet entering his right lung.

28 years ago today, on the afternoon of September 13, 1996, he died from internal bleeding caused by the shooting. He was pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m.
