Tyler, The Creator’s latest album entitled “Don’t Tap The Glass” is projected to sell over 200K in its first week.
The Odd Future head honcho’s 9th studio album is set to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 215,000 units, including 140,000 in pure sales, according to Hits Daily Double.
The number is impressive given the rollout: Tyler announced the album on July 18 and dropped it just three days later on July 21, leaving only four days of tracking in its first chart week.
A star-studded music video for “Stop Playing With Me”, featuring LeBron James and Clipse members Pusha T and Malice, added to the momentum.
The album, which is ten tracks in length, follows on from the star’s most recent album “Chromakopia”, which spent three weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200.
