Westside Gunn has once again voiced his disdain for Dr. Dre’s most recent album, “Compton”. Originally released in 2015, Gunn, a member of the Griselda crew, has reiterated his belief that the long-anticipated project fell short of expectations.

Reflecting on the album, Gunn first addressed his disappointment a decade ago, saying on social media, “N-ggas waited 15 years for Compton to drop and it’s trash and it took me 15 hours to make Hitler Wears Hermes 2 and it’s a masterpiece.”

Now, ten years later, Gunn doubled down on his critique, stating: “10 years later and still not impressed by none of these n-ggas. Still making albums in a day and 12 still AOTY contender, Heels Have Eyes EP of the year. All with no machine, no fake beefs, no gimmicks, no clickbait, just art… this been hella of a ride and I did everything my way… God is the greatest.”

Dr. Dre has yet to respond to Gunn’s remarks.

The Buffalo rapper isn’t the only Hip-Hop figure casting judgment on Dre in recent times. DJ Quik has also thrown shade at the legendary producer, expressing frustration over the disparity in recognition between them. On X, a fan posted, “DJ Quik is actually who everyone thinks Dr. Dre is.” Quik acknowledged the comment and replied, “Finally. Someone had the balls to say it.”
