Wiz Khalifa weighed in on Drake’s legal action over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track aimed at him, “Not Like Us.”
In a recent appearance on “Club Shay Shay”, the Pittsburgh rapper threw some subtle shade at Drizzle when he was asked for his thoughts on the Canada artist filing a legal complaint, claiming Universal Music Group and Spotify conspired to inflate streams of Kendrick Lamar’s hit song.
When asked if he was surprised about Drake suing UMG, Khalifa joked: “Sounds like a Drake move to me.”
“If Drake isn’t in the public eye winning musically, he’s going to get a win wherever he can. … I’m not surprised.”
Later on, Wiz was asked if he thinks that the beef is orchestrated.
“No, I don’t think them n***as fuck with each other at all. I don’t think none of them n***as like each other,” he said.
The “Black and Yellow” rapper added, “It’s just how the industry is and all of that’s coming to an end now, and it’s all spilling out, and you got you’re getting to see it. But this is also like wrestling as well, so the same people who are arguing can be like cool instantly. So it’s like, don’t get too caught up on the animosity part. Not them, but, in general, but people will be hugging later.”
