Rapper Yella Beezy was released on bond Friday morning (March 28) after being charged with a murder-for-hire plot in the death of his rival Mo3.
Beezy posted a $750,000 bond to secure his release after being reduced by a judge from $2 million.
As previously reported, the Texas-born rapper was arrested on a capital murder while remuneration charge in the shooting death of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3.
He is accused of hiring a hitman to shoot and kill Mo3, as the two rappers were allegedly feuding at the time of the shooting.
Under the conditions of his bond, Yella Beezy must remain on house arrest with an ankle monitor, submit to random drug and alcohol testing and surrender his passport. He is also not allowed to possess a deadly weapon, have any contact with witnesses, victims or co-defendants in the case and must ask the court for permission to travel outside of Dallas and Denton County.
Mo3 was gunned down in broad daylight on November 11, 2020, on Interstate 35E near Marsalis Avenue. Police said he was pursued on foot by a gunman after trying to flee from his vehicle. The shooting was captured on traffic cameras and widely circulated.
