YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been sentenced to 23 months in prison for felony gun possession in Utah.

He was sentenced on Tuesday (December 10). The charges stem from his 2020 arrest. The Louisiana-based rapper will be on five years of probation following his release. On top, he has also been ordered to pay a $200,000 fine.

The sentence comes nearly four months after it was reported that the 25-year-old artist would plead guilty to a single count of possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

YB, real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was arrested at his Huntsville, Utah, home back in April and charged in Weber County, Utah, with gun possession and Cache County, Utah, with running a prescription fraud ring out of his home.

The prescription fraud case started when police arrested five individuals in YoungBoy’s vehicle while the group was trying to pick up a fake prescription.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has not issued a statement regarding his supposed sentencing.
