In 2012, Hip-Hop heavyweights 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Big Sean were featured on Kanye West’s 4x-platinum single “Mercy” and the collaboration is still a hot topic eight years later

On Wednesday (April 8), Chainz shared a meme and asked the question,

Everybody BODIED this track but who had the best verse?

2 Chainz

The rapper formerly known as Tity Boi already knew the answer,

No disrespect but I kilt all dem boys.

2 Chainz

2 Chainz spit his verse at the end of the five-and-a-half-minute track.

Okay, now catch up to my campaign/Coupe the color of mayonnaise/I’m drunk and high at the same time/Drinkin’ champagne on the airplane (Tell ’em)/Spit rounds like a gun range (Baow)/Beat it up like Rampage/Hundred bands, cut your girl/Now your girl need a Band-Aid (Damn)/Grade A, A1/Chain the color of Akon.

The song “Mercy” was the featured single on G.O.O.D. Music’s compilation “Cruel Summer,” which boasted production from Lifted, Ye, Mike Dean and Mike WiLL Made-It. It peaked at #13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and hit #1 on both the Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
