R&B singer Ashanti announced Saturday (Dec. 12) on Instagram that she tested positive for Covid-19, and so the Verzuz battle between her and Keyshia Cole has been postponed.
Hey y’all I can’t believe I’m saying this but I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m ok and not in any pain. I’m actually down to do the verzuz from my houseβ¦ we’re trying to figure it all out!

The two R&B singers were set to face off on Saturday night (Dec. 12) but Verzuz announced a short time later it is postponing the battle until January 9.
