2Pac’s legendary double album, “All Eyez On Me”, has been officially inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, marking a major milestone over three decades after its release.

Recognized as part of the Recording Academy’s 2026 class, the album’s inclusion reaffirms its pivotal role in shaping hip-hop’s golden era.

The honor was accepted by E.D.I. Mean, longtime collaborator of the late rapper and member of Outlawz. Representing Tupac Shakur’s estate, friends, family, and dedicated fans, E.D.I. expressed heartfelt gratitude during the ceremony. He reflected on the recognition, stating, “I’m sure Tupac is smiling big and saying, ‘I told you I was a legend.’”

Originally released in 1996 shortly after Tupac’s release from prison, “All Eyez On Me” stands as one of the genre’s most influential works. Featuring timeless hits like “California Love,” “How Do U Want It,” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” the album solidified Tupac as a powerful voice in rap culture.

The Grammy Hall of Fame honor also acknowledges the contributions of Daz Dillinger and the late producer Johnny J, whose collaborative efforts were instrumental to the album’s success.

Daz celebrated the recognition on social media, expressing gratitude to the Grammys while honoring the enduring legacy of this groundbreaking project.
