50 Cent has hinted at an exciting collaboration featuring Eminem and the late 2Pac for the upcoming “Street Fighter” soundtrack.
The announcement came during his appearance on “Today With Jenna and Sheinelle” this past Friday (July 24).
“I got some music that I’m working on. I did something currently me, Eminem and 2Pac,” he said, which sent the hosts into a state of shock and confusion.
50 Cent confirmed that he received approval from 2Pac’s estate and assured that the late rapper’s vocals are not generated by AI.
“They delivered it. It’s for the theme of Street Fighter, the movie. We worked on it and got it right,” he added.
The iconic rapper from Queens has hinted that the eagerly awaited collaboration will be released soon, stating that the completed track will be available shortly.
“Street Fighter” is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on October 16, with 50 Cent taking on the role of Balrog in the live-action remake. Last December, 50 Cent suggested a collaboration with Eminem connected to “Street Fighter”, but did not include 2Pac in his mention.
