The life and musical legacy of the late, great Nipsey Hussle is being commemorated with the fifth anniversary of his landmark, now RIAA 2x Platinum-certified debut album entitled “Victory Lap”.

Released February 2018, “Victory Lap” made a top 5 debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 while simultaneously drawing international critical applause. Highlighted by the 3x Platinum smash, “Double Up (ft. Belly and Dom Kennedy),” the album has only grown in stature since its arrival, earning a steady stream of RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications for virtually every track, among them 2x Platinum-certified classics “Hussle & Motivate,” “Grinding All My Life,” and platinum certified records, “Victory Lap,”  “Dedication (ft. Kendrick Lamar),” “Blue Laces 2,” “Last Time That I Checc’d (ft. YG),” and “Rap Niggas,” as well as the Gold-certified “Real Big,” “Keyz 2 The City 2,” “Right Hand 2 God,” “Young Nigga” and “Status Symbol (ft. Buddy).”

Along with its popular success, “Victory Lap” also proved among the year’s most celebrated, earning a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Rap Album”.
