Diddy, currently serving a four-year sentence, continues to face legal battles alongside growing public scrutiny. Among these lawsuits is one alleging the sexual assault of a minor, while figures close to him, such as his trusted associate, recently avoided sex trafficking charges.

A particularly significant case involves Lil Rod, a music producer who appeared in Sean Combs: The Reckoning and has accused Diddy of sexual assault — allegations the entertainment mogul firmly denies.

As reported by TMZ, Diddy has pushed back against Lil Rod’s lawsuit, asserting that Rod has yet to provide the necessary medical records. He argues that the producer is improperly leveraging discovery requests while refusing to offer crucial documents or answer questions pertinent to the case.

Much of this centers around what Diddy’s legal team claims is a technical oversight. They state that in November, Lil Rod failed to sign documents required to authorize access to his medical records in compliance with privacy laws. The paperwork submitted allegedly falls short of legal regulations on confidentiality.

Moreover, Diddy challenges Rod’s request for information on Cuba Gooding Jr., claiming it is irrelevant and improper. Rod alleges that the actor was also involved in an assault incident aboard Diddy’s yacht.

In an earlier response to TMZ regarding the lawsuit, Diddy’s attorney labeled Rod’s claims false and dismissed the $30 million demand for damages as entirely unfounded.

“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines,” the statement reads.
