Lil Baby is gearing up for a new album release, starting with his Pharrell-produced track, “Dead Fresh.”
On July 16, Baby confirmed via a TikTok video that a fresh album is in the pipeline.
“Album time,” he announced while showing what appeared to be a meeting space likely involving his team and record label. “This muthaf**ka getting steady.”
Later that day, Baby officially unveiled the album’s lead single, “Dead Fresh.” Pharrell initially hinted at this track during the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring-Summer 2027 show in Paris last June.
During the show, Pharrell also showcased other collaborations, including those with Quavo titled “Haavin” and YoungBoy Never Broke Again called “Simulation.”
A golf-themed music video for the single, directed by Kid Art, is set to premiere on July 20, according to Baby’s Instagram Story.
The currently unnamed album will be Baby’s fifth solo studio release. It follows his January 2025 album, “WHAM”, which featured guest appearances by artists like Young Thug, Future, GloRilla, Rylo Rodriguez, Rod Wave, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage.
