Despite only a few weeks passing since his latest album dropped, it appears Future is already gearing up for his next musical project.

On August 2, he tantalized fans on his Instagram Story with hints of upcoming work. He also expressed gratitude for the support that propelled his recent album,” The Real Me”, released in July, to the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

“Thanks for the #1 album,” he wrote in the post. “I’m always super grateful for the consistent love 1000% this next one for you.”

Released on July 10, The Real Me is a 22-track album marking the Atlanta rapper’s 10th solo studio album, and his first solo release since the 2024 mixtape “Pluto”.

Future first hinted at the project in January, engaging fans by asking them to help name the album through an Instagram Story. By June, Spotify billboards featuring the acronym T.R.M. appeared, leading up to the announcement of the album’s full title and release date, along with its lead single, “Radio,” on June 15.

Remarkably, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Unlike his previous studio albums, this one features no collaborations.

This achievement marks Future’s twelfth album to reach the top of the charts, placing him among the top five artists with the most number-one albums in history.
