Young Thug has his sights set on bringing a major rap star into the fold of his YSL Records, and he has Quavo in mind.

On August 3, Quavo took to Instagram, sharing a series of photos that depicted him enjoying himself and working on music in the studio. One of these pictures shows him casually smoking outside Capitol Records, where he is currently signed.

In a friendly gesture, Young Thug, known for his camaraderie with Quavo, commented on the post, encouraging him to make the move to YSL.

“Leave capital and come with us brada we need u,” Thug expressed.

Though Quavo did not acknowledge Young Thug’s invitation, it’s likely he will remain with Capitol Records, as he is deeply rooted with Quality Control Records, his long-time parent label.

Despite this, Young Thug and Quavo have a history of successful collaborations. They’ve teamed up on hits such as “Guwop” (alongside Offset and Young Scooter), “Pick Up the Phone” (with Travis Scott), “Circle of Bosses,” and “You Said.”

Interestingly, this isn’t Young Thug’s first public appeal to sign an artist. In June, he extended an offer to Kodak Black via social media for him to join YSL.

Kodak responded with a unique set of conditions, including a $100 million signing bonus and a collaboration with Thug’s fiancée, Mariah The Scientist. After that exchange, Young Thug appeared to drop the pursuit of Kodak.
