Famous Dex has been apprehended on charges related to domestic battery, and the individual reportedly affected by the incident has decided to speak up.
As detailed in a recent TMZ report from August 25, Famous Dex, whose real name is Dexter Gore, was taken into custody on August 23 in Las Vegas due to domestic battery allegations. The rapper from Chicago is said to remain detained in a Las Vegas jail as of the latest update.
In the aftermath of Dex’s arrest, the alleged victim shared images of her injuries on Instagram. Through a collection of photos, Pamalla Rodriguez (@rodrigueztwinz) displayed bruising around her eye and a bloodied eye socket, alongside a bruised lip.
To provide further evidence of Famous Dex’s arrest tied to domestic battery, she also posted a photo of a document labeled “Battery/Domestic Violence.” Additionally, she shared a link to her GoFundMe page where she is seeking financial assistance to cover medical and legal costs.

“I’ve been quiet while processing everything that happened, but I’m finally ready to share MY experience and MY truth,” she wrote in part. “I want justice, but I also want my story to be a warning to other women.”
“I was physically assaulted by Dexter Gore, also known as Famous Dex. The abuse started on Friday, I was first choked then threw my phone at my arm then hit in the lip, hit in my head then punched in my eye where his finger busted open leaving me with injuries to my eye, lip, neck, face and body that required medical attention,” she continued.
“Afterward, he wanted me to lie and say that I had been jumped. I refuse to lie to protect the person that hurt me.”
“Women should not have to stay silent because someone has fame, money, followers or power,” she added. “Abuse is abuse. No woman deserves to be hit, choked, intimidated, lied to, or afraid for her life.”
This development represents a significant hurdle for Famous Dex. As reported by TMZ, the 32-year-old rapper was nearly a year into his journey of sobriety and actively collaborating on a new project with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch.
