Yella Beezy’s trial related to the murder of Mo3 has been rescheduled for October.

Originally, jury selection was to begin on Monday, September 14, but the case was delayed after the Dallas rapper’s attorney requested a continuance. The trial is now set to start on October 26, according to court documents.

Markies Conway, known as Yella Beezy, is accused of hiring convicted killer Kewon White to murder Mo3 on a Dallas highway in November 2020. White was recently found guilty of capital murder. Beezy faces charges of capital murder by remuneration.

The request for a trial delay was made because Beezy’s defense team needed additional time to review White’s trial transcript, as White might testify in Beezy’s trial. Additionally, one of their key witnesses would have been unavailable if the trial had started as initially scheduled.

In a post-conviction interview, White, who received a life sentence, stated that Yella Beezy did not pay him to kill Mo3.

“Y’all want it to be something so bad that it’s not,” White told MrLawtontv.

‘Y’all want that man to go down so bad. Like, that’s not the case, bro. I got my time. I don’t give a f**k about nothing. But that is not the case, bro. I’ma be honest with y’all, bro. I got life without parole. I’m a grown man, becoming a better man. And I made my choices, so I have to own up to the things I did.”

“I didn’t get paid to do nothing, bro,” White added.

Yella Beezy has entered a not guilty plea and could face life imprisonment if found guilty.
