Cardi B returns with “Like What (Freestyle),” which samples the legendary Missy Elliot track “She’s A B*tch.”
“Ayo, let me put some gas in this motherf-ckin’ year, bitch/ I ain’t really talked my sh-t in a minute/ Like who the f-ck these bitches really think they talkin’ to?/ Like, bitch, is you f-ckin’ dumb?” Cardi B raps in the opening verse.
On the song, the Grammy winner aims her acidic lyrics at detractors who hate on her and wish for her downfall.
“Uh, keep a hater obsessed/ In my comment havin’ a d-ck suckin’ contest (Contest)/ I’m pressure, y’all pressed (Y’all pressed)/ Y’all don’t get addressed, y’all’s gettin’ outdressed, look (Ooh),” she spits on the track.
Alongside the song, Cardi shared its accompanying music video — directed by her husband Offset.
As fans have come to expect from the mother of two, the video features Cardi in an assortment of designer looks that flaunt her curves as she eats sushi out of a YSL bag by a pool.
At the end of the track’s video, the entertainer teased the possibility of another single with the text, “This is just the beginning. Stay tuned.” The beat switch bore a striking resemblance to a song she teased on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1) at a Miami club.
