DaBaby’s legal problems continue. The Cleveland-born rapper has been accused of assaulting a rental home owner in Runyon Canyon, California.

Gary Pagar, the property owner of a vacation rental home, says DaBaby attacked him and stole his phone when he tried to shut down an unauthorized music video shoot last December.

The popular rapper rented the property on the condition that no more than 12 people would be on site due to COVID-19 restrictions. But Pagar says that the “Rockstar” rapper brought 40 people to the home to shoot the music video. Pagar then tried to shut it down before he was knocked to the ground. He then alleges that the rapper got out of the car and chased him into the house.

Pager claims that DaBaby warned him to not call the police and punched him, knocking out a tooth and leaving him with a bloodied mouth. Pager also states that he was spat on and that the alleged taunted him by playing catch with his phone.

The report goes on to say that someone at the scene did call the police and DaBaby and his crew allegedly fled thereafter. They reportedly left thousands of dollars in damage including a destroyed security camera and haven’t paid the full rental bill.

It’s unclear how much Pager is seeking in damages, but the property owner also names DaBaby’s manager, Kinsza Virgil, in the suit.
