26 years ago today, DMX dropped his second studio album “Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood” on December 22, 1998 via Def Jam and Ruff Ryders.
The album dropped only 7 months after his iconic debut album, “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot” and debuted on the Billboard 200 at #1 with over 670,000 units shipped in the first week.
DMX became the second artist to have two albums released in the same calendar year debut at #1 on the Billboard 200.
