The FBI has officially begun investigating the recent shooting involving Offset outside a casino and has released images of the alleged suspects and their vehicles in connection with the case.

On April 14, the FBI’s Miami field office confirmed it is looking into the April 6 incident that took place near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Offset sustained injuries during the shooting. Federal authorities are now seeking public assistance to identify those involved, providing several photos of individuals and getaway vehicles linked to the event.

According to the statement, “A group of individuals assaulted a lone victim, during which one person drew a handgun and fired a single shot that struck the victim. The suspects then attempted to steal the injured victim’s watch, but they were unsuccessful.”

The suspects reportedly fled the scene in two Chevrolet SUVs: a matte gray Tahoe and a black Suburban. Investigators detail that the Suburban headed toward Hollywood, Florida, while the Tahoe continued south toward Miami.

The FBI is encouraging anyone with relevant information to reach out by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or visiting tips.fbi.gov.

Offset was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after the incident. Further developments revealed that rapper Lil Tjay, present at the casino at the time, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct-affray and driving without a valid license.

A probable cause affidavit alleges that Lil Tjay initiated a physical altercation with Offset, which reportedly escalated to an associate of Tjay firing the shot that injured Offset.

Offset has since been discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile, Lil Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, has issued a statement asserting that her client had no involvement in the shooting.
