Sullivan has been open about her mother’s journey with breast cancer and how her mother inspired her.

“My mother is my biggest influencer – she’s actually here today. She is battling breast cancer for the second time, and I am really happy to have her be here. She has encouraged me and influenced me since I was born. So, I am so happy to she is here.”

In May 2020, the “Lions, Tigers & Bears” songtress announced that her mother had been diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in October 2019.
