Ye is reportedly close to finalizing a settlement with a former assistant who filed a lawsuit against the rapper-producer for sexual harassment.

As outlined in a Patch.com report released on June 30, Lauren Pisciotta, who previously served as Ye’s assistant, has reached a settlement Agreement with the Grammy Award-winning rapper.

A settlement in principle is a preliminary agreement where both parties concur on the basic terms of a resolution before the final documentation is completed.

During a hearing on June 29, attorneys informed Judge Nicholas F. Daum that a settlement “in principle” had been reached between the parties during mediation on June 4. The agreement’s specifics have not been revealed.

According to court records, Lauren Pisciotta filed a lawsuit against Ye in June 2024. She claimed that the veteran rapper sent her sexually explicit messages and recordings during her employment with him from 2021 to 2022.

Pisciotta was hired by Ye in July 2021 after meeting him during the development of his Yeezy fashion line. She also mentioned her contribution to three songs on Ye’s 2021 album, “Donda”.

In October 2024, Lauren amended her lawsuit to include an alarming allegation that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Ye at a studio session co-hosted by Diddy. Lauren did not accuse Diddy of any misconduct.

Ye, through his attorney, has strongly denied all allegations and has accused Lauren of attempting blackmail.
