Fans are convinced that Lil Baby took a jab at his former collaborator Gunna in a new song.
The Atlanta rapper seemingly alludes to Gunna on the deluxe edition of his latest album, “WHAM.”
On the track “Running This Shit,” Lil Baby spits a line about calling someone a rat and fans think he’s talking about Gunna, whom some perceive as a snitch for cutting a plea deal to be released from custody during Young Thug’s YSL RICO case.
“I don’t care what he did, he a rat still (F**k him)/And I said what I said, don’t at me,” Baby raps.
Lil Baby has made it clear that he has no intention of working with any artist he perceives as a rat.
“I’m always gonna look at certain stuff a certain way,” Lil Baby said during a recent podcast. “It boils down to what we rapping about. We can’t rap about that if you did that. If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a damn what you did.”
Lil Baby also spoke with Charlamagne Tha God about his relationship with Gunna.
“We ain’t got no relationship,” said Baby. When asked if he would work with Gunna again, he responded, “I don’t see that happening.”
