β€œI know I messed up really bad this time. I can act unbothered all I want, but it’s definitely taken a mental toll on me,” the Georgia artist said. β€œI’m not some evil demon guy trying to destroy everybody’s values and stuff like that. That’s not me.”

Lil Nas X added, β€œWhen I did the artwork, I knew there would be some upset people simply because religion is a very sensitive topic for a lot of people. But I also didn’t mean to mock β€” this wasn’t a fβ€” you to the Christians. It was literally me saying I’m back like Jesus.”

Nas found himself in a firestorm of negative comments after uploading a TikTok in which he eats communion bread and drinks wine from a chalice while dressed as Jesus.

β€œI did not mean it as a cannibalism thing or whatever the freak. But I do apologize for that. I will say I’m sorry for that. That was overboard,” Nas continued.

β€œI didn’t mean to mock. This wasn’t a β€˜Fuck you to you people. Fuck you to the Christians.’ It was not that. It was β€˜I’m back like Jesus!’ I’m not the first person to dress up as Jesus. I’m not the first rapper, I’m not the first artist, and I won’t be the last.”

Several celebrities were offended by the rapper who is known for trolling.
