After going viral with the track in the past few months, Lil Uzi Vert has now released the music video for his huge offering “Just Wanna Rock.”
The high-energy visual, directed by Gibson Hazard (Eternal Atake), sees the rapper travel from space inside an intergalactic car to a bustling dance floor.
Clocking in just over two minutes, “Just Wanna Rock” offers ’70s synths and bass drums to back up Uzi’s bars. “How the f*ck you gon’ kill my vibe? / Stand on my money, don’t know my size,” he raps. “Pick them sides, and you better choose wisely / That’s my high, one, two, three, four, throw up the five.”
The new video arrives following official word that next year will indeed be bringing with it a headlining tour from Uzi, notably marking their first such jaunt since 2018. As reported in October, Uzi will be launching a 20-city headlining trek in March. Additional details on the tour, including ticket info, are set to be announced soon.
The “Money Longer” rapper has been keeping busy lately. He’s slated to appear on DJ Drama’s forthcoming album “I’m Really Like That” and was also spotted in the studio with Big Sean earlier this month.
