Offset and JID joined forces for the former Migos rapper’s second studio single of 2025 entitled “Bodies.”

The gritty, high-energy anthem is blending Atlanta and Dreamville fire, bolstered by a sample of Drowning Pool’s 2001 song of the same name.

“‘Bodies’ is one of them ones I had to really take my time with,” Offset elaborated in an official press statement.

“It’s about standing on who you are, coming out the mud, and being confident in the face of adversity,” Set continued on of the song’s guiding mantra.

“I’m always evolving, and I don’t fit in a box as an artist. I’ve been cooking this up for a minute and I’m just getting started. J.I.D. is my guy and had the perfect energy to match ‘Bodies.’ Stay tuned because we going up.”

JID’s surgical lyrical precision complements Offset’s aggressive delivery, creating a balanced but ferocious energy.

The track also prominently samples a rendition of the gospel song “Ringing Them Bells” performed by the choir The Spirituals.
