Soulja Boy claims that he started the new wave in Hip-Hop culture.
Hip-Hop celebrated its 50 anniversary on August 11 and Soulja Boy claims he changed the face of the culture when he blew up.
The Chicago-born rapper hit up Twitter on Sunday (August 13), to celebrate himself.
“When I came in the game they said I killed hip hop. But really, I birthed the new wave of hip hop with internet/streaming. Ahead of my time. #HipHop50,” he tweeted.
