Tyga has stirred up interest with his new album “$TARFACE,” which showcases an ’80s-inspired style and persona.
Despite positive feedback on this artistic deviation, some have suggested that AI may have played a role in its creation. These claims have gained traction recently.
Artist Medasin recently accused Tyga and his team on Twitter of utilizing artificial intelligence for the album. Medasin, known for revealing the AI origins of Fenix Flexin’s viral track “RUBBERZ,” pointed out several connections.
He mentioned the AI software Treblo, Tyga’s recent collaboration with Fenix, and a financial relationship with EMPIRE. However, these claims require more evidence compared to those against Flexin.
Medasin stated he used an AI detection model on Instagram, operated by his friend Rashan under @humanstandard_, to examine “$TARFACE.” This tool supposedly identifies AI-generated music by analyzing tracks, including those from Treblo, Suno, and Udio. He tested the track “AFFECTION,” which the model indicated was “likely AI” from Treblo.
Furthermore, Medasin highlighted EMPIRE’s role in distributing both “$TARFACE” and “RUBBERZ,” questioning if there is a financial link with Treblo.
He noted the rise of AI music detection models, such as Tidal’s efforts, which are becoming more widespread and efficient. He warned that artists could face a loss of credibility if they don’t disclose AI use upfront.
As of now, Tyga and his team have not addressed these accusations publicly.
