XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD’s highly anticipated collaboration is set to arrive this week.
The estates of the two late Rap stars have announced that the remix to XXXTentaction’s “Whoa” featuring Juice WRLD drops on May 30.
“X left the original record with an open verse that Juice WRLD ended up recording over in December 2018,” reads an official press release.
The original version of the track appeared on XXXTentacion’s posthumous 2018 album, “Skins”.
On that original track, the Florida rapper talks about not letting negative energies get the better of him.
“Won’t look back on my mind/ Won’t let bad out my shine/ Won’t let you cloud my mind/ Won’t let you cloud my mind/ All my days, I was cryin’/ All my lows, all my highs/ Told my Mom, ‘I’m gon’ shine’/Told my love, ‘I’m gon’.'”
News of the anticipated remix of the song arrives alongside a heartfelt trailer, which highlights X’s family roots and heritage in Jamaica as well as his and his family’s love of soccer.
In a digital crossover, four XXXTentacion tracks will be featured in Fortnite, including his breakout hit “Look at Me.” An exclusive XXXTentacion Emote goes live on May 23 at 8 p.m. EST, with a special Fortnite event set for May 31 on the Super Red vs. Blue Island.
