In a clip circulating online, the 22-year-old rapper appears to take aim at the late King Von.
He got caught without that pole and now that bitch-ass nigga gone … I’ll piss on his grave.Quando Rondo
In the short video, the Atlanta performer never makes mention of King Von directly, but many people on social media believe the Savannah-born artist is referencing Von.
King Von died in November 2020 after being shot during an altercation with Quando Rondo outside of an ATL hookah lounge. In video footage from the scene, Von can be witnessed walking up to Quando and throwing punches at the rapper. Since Quando was on the losing end of the fight, Rondo’s associate, Lul Tim, allegedly pulled out a gun and fired the fatal shots at Von.
Lul Tim, who was injured himself and sought medical attention from a local Atlanta hospital, was arrested on Nov. 19, 2020. He was released from Fulton County Jail on March 27, 2021, after being granted a $100,000 bond.
King Von’s manager, Track, had previously stated in an interview with DJ Vlad that he did not want Von’s killer to remain behind bars.
Honest truth, I wouldn’t wish jail on my worst enemies. That’s just how I am, how I’m built. Honest truth, I could care — that’s his situation and he gotta deal with it. That’s his team. Whatever’s going on with them, that’s on them. Me, personally, I know what I’m dealing with losing my brother and his family and just making sure we keep everything going. I don’t really think or even consider what’s going on on that side. That’s for them to figure out what they got going on.”
