27 years ago today, Usher released his second studio album “My Way” on September 16, 1997.

The album features guest appearances from Monica, Jermaine Dupri, and Lil’ Kim. It was supported by three singles, all multi platinum-selling: “Nice & Slow”, “My Way”, and “You Make Me Wanna”.

“My Way” became a commercial success, debuting at #15 on the Billboard 200 and peaking at #4. It was certified seven times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
