This cinematic music video is for the veteran Hip-Hop heads.
LL Cool J and Eminem released a visual for their first-ever collaboration entitled “Murdergram Deux.” It arrived ahead of LL Cool J’s “The Force” as a single.
In the JakeTheShooter-directed visual, the duo recreates some memorable Hip-Hop moments with nostalgic scenes. It was shot in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit and sees the two Hip-Hop veterans take turns delivering their effortless rhymes.
On the Q-Tip produced track, LL raps: “Give blessings to my disciples, professional I’m a sniper/ Like eight miles away, me and Marshall doing murders/ With dirty burners, break them down and melt them in the furnace,” as Em comes in with the bridge: “Unapologetic and we’re gonna cause a headache/ Me and L about to set it, we about to murdergram it/ Anyone of y’all can get it, so you might as well forget it.”
In a press release for “Murdergram Deux”, LL said: “It feels good to finally have this record out in the world. As I’ve said before, this album brings a whole new vibe. I’m returning to my roots…you all better buckle up.”
“The Force” – which is COOL J’s 14th album and his first in 11 years – is out now. The LP also features Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Saweetie, Nas and more.
